May 12: Kusadasi, Turkey
There wasn't a whole lot going on in Kusadasi; it's mostly a starting point from which to see the ancient ruins of Ephesus. We preferred to wander Kusadasi, where a kindly man let us look around a small local mosque. I took no pictures there, out of respect. In the town, which was lined with shops, we were especially pleased with Benny's Real Estate and Leather, and a store offering "genuine fake watches." "At last," we cried.
